Jesus Did Not Die in Cross

Many Christians have been taught by their missionaries that Christian and Jesus was died on a cross to save their sins or Jesus is a way of life and truth. In future, Jesus will come again for the second time. But if they really want to question their belief, they will find multiple reasons why Jesus (peace be upon him) did not die, but was in a coma, while he was in a cross and he won’t return.

Part 1. Did Jesus (peace be upon him) Come to Save our Sins by Sacrificing His Life?

Missionaries teach us that Jesus (peace be upon him) was come to this world to save our sins. According to them, the punishment from Jews for Jesus (peace be upon him) was according to God’s plan. However, there is contradiction between this belief and some verses from Bible:

  1. Jesus (peace be upon him) hide (Mark 8: 26 and Mark 8: 26

If Jesus (peace be upon him) really was sent by God to be sacrificed, why he was hiding from Jews? Why Jesus (peace be upon him)’s pupils try to hide him, not show his location to Jews? Why Jesus (peace be upon him) did not tell his followers “Do not hide me, Father sent me for this”

2. Jesus (peace be upon him) begging to be saved (John 26: 36, John 26: 39, John 26:42-44)

If Jesus (peace be upon him) really was sent by God to be sacrificed, why he was begging God to save him? Indeed, God saved him from death. God sent an angel to strengthen Jesus (peace be upon him)(Luke 22: 43-44). Then why He sent Angel to help him? Why God did not let him suffered and death in the cross.

3. Jesus (peace be upon him) pray for forgiveness before his crucifixion(Luke 23:34)

Missionary teach us Jesus (peace be upon him) come to save our inherited sins and forgive our non-inherited sins by sacrificing himself and yet he pray may God forgive all Jews. Why did Jesus (peace be upon him) pray for their forgiveness? This was a good thing, right? Jesus (peace be upon him) should pray “Dear Father please bless them with honor and prosperity as they fulfill my destiny here”. The fact that Jesus (peace be upon him) marked this punishment a greater sin(John 19:11, Matt 26:45) proved that Jesus (peace be upon him) did not come for crucifixion.

4. Jesus (peace be upon him) considered the punishment as a murder, not sacrifice(John 7:19, John 8:40, Mark 9:31)

This is also a strange phenomenon, while missionaries insist that Jesus (peace be upon him) was sacrificed, Jesus (peace be upon him) himself considered this as a murder.

5. Jesus (peace be upon him) feels abandoned

In the day of crucifixion, Jesus (peace be upon him) cried in agony for a ninth hour (Matthew 27:45 – 46). Why did Jesus (peace be upon him) cry? He should be happy instead.

Part 2. Did Jesus (peace be upon him) Really Die in Cross?

Missionaries told us that Jesus (peace be upon him) died in a cross. They call this event a “Good Friday” and celebrate his resurrection on Sunday as Easter day. However, these verses from Bible refute their belief.

  1. Pilate’s wife try to save Jesus (peace be upon him)(Matt 27:19)

The night before crucifixion day, Pilate’s wife got a dream about how Jesus (peace be upon him) was a right and true man. Then she warned his husband Pilate. Her dream proved Jesus (peace be upon him)’s innocents and Jesus needed to be saved from crucifixion.

 2. Pilate try to save Jesus (peace be upon him) (Matt 27:24)

Hearing her wife’s testimonial, Pilate try to delay crucifixion time for Jesus (peace be upon him) because Pilate known Jesus (peace be upon him) was a true Prophet of God, but he did not want to defy Caesar. That’s why he planned to set crucifixion time in Sabbath time. Jews believed that they cannot crucify someone in the day of Sabbath, so Jesus (peace be upon him) will not suffer in a cross for a long time. Pilate was sure that Jesus (peace be upon him) would survive in Cross, as he was only 33 years old.

3. The other two thieves

When Jesus (peace be upon him) and two other thieves were in a cross, there was an earthquake, eclipse & a storm (Matt 27:45, Matt 27: 51). This was a sign of God’s disliking and anger. Meanwhile, Jews interpreted this chaos because they crucified Jesus (peace be upon him) in Day of Sabbath. Thus, they asked Pilate to sent two guards to free them. First, they broke two thief’s leg because they know they were still alive as they have been in crucifixion only for a short time(John 19: 32). Now, those thieves were older than Jesus (peace be upon him). How can someone older than Jesus (peace be upon him) still survive, but Jesus (peace be upon him) did not? Then when guards checked Jesus (peace be upon him), they saw Jesus (peace be upon him) was unconscious, not sure if Jesus (peace be upon him) was dead or alive. Then they did not break his leg (John 19:33) but instead one of them pierced Jesus (peace be upon him) in his side (John 19:34). Why do you think he did that? Is he checking whether Jesus (peace be upon him) was dead or not?

4. Blood and Water

Then blood and water gushed out from his body with full pressure. Do you think from these sign guards could confirm that Jesus (peace be upon him) was dead? No, they were not. Jesus (peace be upon him), in fact, could still be alive. No Jews or Christian at that time to confirm the death of Jesus (peace be upon him), yet Jews proudly proclaimed they murdered Jesus (peace be upon him). Strangely, Christians today also have followed and believed their claim. With this, they admit that Jesus (peace be upon him) was not sent by God because Jews wanted to test his claim as a Son of God by killed him on the cross(Matt 27:40, Matt 27:42).

5. Pilate marveled(Mark 15: 44)

Pilate, who experienced many crucifixions before, marveled how Jesus (peace be upon him) could die at such a short time in Cross? Sure he knew Jesus (peace be upon him) endured a torture with 39 lashes or more before the crucifixion, and yet he was still marveled. If a living witness, someone who lives in the same time as Jesus like Pilate was doubtful, why missionaries, over 4000 years ahead of time, were absolutely sure that Jesus (peace be upon him) was dead in a cross? Unbelievable.

6. Death on Cross means Humiliation

While in Old Testament taught that death in a cross means someone is accursed of God, yet  missionaries insist that Jesus (peace be upon him) was dead on a cross. This means Jesus (peace be upon him) was cursed, and yet they praise him so high until he became a God. Could someone accursed of God can achieve the same rank as God Himself or sit in the same throne as God?

Part 3. After Jesus (peace be upon him) “Resurrection”

This is a part where missionaries teach us that Jesus (peace be upon him) was resurrected and met his pupils. Again, these verses from Bible explained the opposite:

  1. Sign of Jonah(Matthew 12:40)

This is a self-explanatory. As Jonah survived inside whale after three days, Jesus (peace be upon him) survived crucifixion after three days. He can survive because his pupils used special spices to heal his wounds, not to bury as missionaries believe(John 19:39-40).

2. Jesus (peace be upon him) was alive as a human being

Jesus (peace be upon him) came back and meet his pupils with his scars from his wounds(John 20: 25-27). Yes, it was horrible, Jesus (peace be upon him) really suffered in a cross. But with the grace of God, He saved him from his suffering. His wounds were healed. Next, in John 20: 25-27 “Then he said to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: be not faithless, but believing”. This verse shows that Jesus (peace be upon him) want to convince his pupils that he is the true Prophet of God, not someone who can die in the cross and be accursed from God. Moreover, you know spirit can’t have wounds, or eat and feel hungry, can it? (Mark 16:9-14, Luke 24:36-43).

3. Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent only to Israel (Matthew 15:24)

Why missionary insist that Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent for all humankind whereas Jesus (peace be upon him) himself teach us that “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel”? That is why after Jesus (peace be upon him) was healthy again, he continued his mission the gather the lost sheep of Israel. He traveled across regions and died peacefully in Srinagar, Kashmir, India.

4. Jesus (peace be upon him) never meet Jews again

In Conclusion, If Jesus (peace be upon him) was really dead and came back alive and became a God, why he did not meet Jews and prove his innocents? He should have a God power, some sort of a power of Superman. The answer is no, he was not dead, he did not become a God, he was still a mortal and normal human being. The reason why Jesus (peace be upon him) did not meet Jews again was he knew that they will try to murder, not sacrifice, him again.

If you are still can’t accept this truth, then maybe you should ask yourself this, “Are you become a believer because of Jesus (peace be upon him) or because of parents/family/friends/missionary?”. If it is because of Jesus (peace be upon him), then time to accept the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Jesus (peace be upon him) (peace be upon him) said, “But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14-26). The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) will teach you “whatsoever I have said unto you“.Islam is a religion who focus on two things. Firstly serving the One God, as Jesus (peace be upon him) always said “serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials which came upon me through the plots of the Jews” (Acts 20:19) and “the Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4). Secondly serving the humankind, as Jesus (peace be upon him) always said “And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” (Mark 9:35).

If you really truly love Jesus (peace be upon him), you have to learn about Islam and its teaching. Come to Baitul Huda Mosque, 45 Hollinsworth Rd, Marsden Park NSW 2765, or call (02) 9627 4521.

  1. Salam Amaeleikum,

First of all according to the Holy Scriptures, the Bible, Jesus did not die on a cross but on a wooden stake. secondly he really died. God can not die but every man of flesh and blood, like Jesus shall die (except those who shall be still alive after the World War III or Armageddon).

Jesus was and is not God and did never became God.He might be considered a god, or special or important figure, like today we can see that there are still many gods, but Jesus is the way to God and not God Himself.

Jesus offered himself as a Lamb of God, and by giving himself as a ransom, doing the Will of God instead of his will, Allah made him higher. Now Jesus is seated next to Allah, and not on God His seat. Allah accepted Jesus’ offering and allowed him to be a mediator between God and man.

It is true lots of Christians may learn a lot of Islam, but lots of Muslims also must learn a lot from Quran and the other Holy scriptures. Like in Christendom we may find lots of people who do seem to ignore lots of things which are written in the Holy Scriptures, preferring to keep to human doctrines, instead of Biblical doctrines.

      1. I was also pleased to find this writing bringing food for thought. Hope you may reach some people and have them thinking about the matter and about the religious interaction and the attitude man has to take in his life, deciding which way to go, the Way of Allah/God or the one of the world, keeping to the human and pagan traditions.
